Rules and Regulations
- Please read through, understand, and comply with the following rules and regulations which apply to you.
- Please read through, understand, and comply with the rules and regulations set by The Spring.
- Be aware of emergency exits in case of emergency.
- Children under 12 years old must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
- Children under 12 years old must have a signed permission from a parent or guardian to attend the event. Please pick up your children no later than 8:00 PM (20:00 hours).
- Parent(s) or guardian(s) who bring child(ren) under 12 years old are advised to keep a close eye on them at all times as I’ve Anime! Convention and The Spring do not provide child care. If a baby carriage is needed, please proceed to the Customer Service counter of The Spring to request it for use.
- Please take careful measures to care for your own valuables and belongings. Due to the rapid turnover of people, theft may happen very easily. Please be extra cautious at all times.
- Vandalism or destruction/damage of property that does not belong to you (including costume) is an offense and may hold you liable for damage and immediate expulsion from the convention. (You will be blacklisted)
- Please be aware of surveillance cameras around the area. Theft or attempted theft will result in expulsion and/or further action like turning you in to the authority to be charged. (You will be blacklisted)
- I’ve Anime! Convention cannot be held responsible for lost or stolen item(s) and missing child. If you are separated, please immediately inform any staff and proceed to the Customer Service counter of The Spring so they can announce or alert the public over the PA system.
- Please conduct yourself in an appropriate manner as there are kids around.
- Costume or any attire should not be too revealing – does not illusion of nudity (e.g. bikini, towel without visibility of clothing under it, cotton balls taped to a flesh-colored bodysuit, transparent clothing, or any other attire which are in the same group).
- No inebriated (drunk/drugged/etc) people are allowed at any time and will result in immediate expulsion.
- Offensive words/dialogue/sentence in any language should be kept to a minimum especially on stage.
- Do not cause a commotion or litter within or surrounding the convention area.
- Behave in safe manner and be considerate – no running, horseplay, or wheeled items (rollerblades, skateboards, bicycle, etc).
- Person in wheelchairs (either for cosplay or the disabled) – please move the wheelchair cautiously to avoid harm or any unintended problems to other people. Do not block the path of other attendees which may cause traffic. Please have an assistant at all times or ask for assistance from the committee if necessary. Wheelchairs are also available at the customer service counter of The Spring if needed.
- Do not disturb others including harassing physically and/or verbally. Be respectful to others and others will return the favor.
- Harassment or intimidation (including damaging another attendee’s costume, “booing” other contestants, displaying violent behavior and bad sportsmanship, threats/blackmail, and etc.) of the judges, contestants, or guests will result in immediate disqualification.
- Please note that all threats will be taken seriously and will be reported to the authority and also immediate expulsion from the convention to ensure safety of our attendees. (You will be blacklisted)
- Attendees are expected to be courteous to other attendees including guests, vendor staffs and committees.
- Attendees including guests, vendor staffs and committee who violate the rules and regulations will be dealt with accordingly depending on the severity of the offense.
- To report a violator (you feel harassed, stalked, or etc.), please do not hesitate and proceed to any committee or authority closest to you.
- Security personnel will be tagged with sunglasses and whistle for easier identification. Please do not hesitate to ask for assistance whenever needed.
- I’ve Anime! Convention is proud to introduce you to our guest(s) however we cannot guarantee their scheduled appearances due to circumstances beyond our control (such as last minute cancellations) and will not be held responsible for it.
- Should your vehicle be towed/fined because you parked in an undesignated area, I’ve Anime! Convention will not be held responsible for the charges.
- Strictly no pets are allowed in the convention unless approved by I’ve Anime! management (only for cosplay purposes). Take note that not everybody may be fond of your pet no matter how cute and tame it is. Some people may be allergic to them.
- Smoking is not allowed in the convention at all times. Feel free to join other smokers outside of the convention area. Smoking inside the building may cause inconvenience to attendees who may be sensitive to smoke and may trigger the smoke detector/fire alarm.
